Resource centre
Together with Université des Femmes, Amazone runs a gender-focussed resource centre. Our ‘Centre de Ressources pour l’Égalité des Genres’ (CREG – centre of resources for equality and gender) combines the very best of the previous collections of both of our organisations and assures a broad coverage of feminist and gender-related literature in multiple languages. Both a physical and digital collection are freely consultable for any interested parties. More literature in Dutch and English can be found in the collection of Rosa vzw. The partnership between our three organisations ensures a nation-wide gender resource centre with the broadest possible coverage and expertise.
While our resource centre collects and distributes recent studies, policy documents and legal information, we also try to distribute gender-related news via articles on our website. Our ‘news’ tab allows us to get information to the interested parties in a quick and accessible way. Be sure to check out the webpage for the latest articles on gender equality in Belgium and abroad. Articles are sorted based on different thematic categories.
The resource centre also supports Amazone projects and focuses on freely available information, raising awareness on gender-related topic, current affairs and thematic dossiers.
Finally, our team also deals with information requests and is always available at the Amazone House or via e-mail.
